First published 1910 by Putnam in New York.

The Putnam edition enjoyed numerous printings, so finding a first printing is not easy. I own a first printing without a DJ, and I am unsure if a DJ exists, for I have never seen one.

Grosset & Dunlap issued a reprint edition, and I own two copies with original DJs.

A.L. Burt also issued a reprint edition, but I do not own a copy.

Hurst & Blackett published the first London edition, but this is so rare that I have never seen a copy.

I do own an oddity: a Hurst & Blackett edition with "Twenty-Seventh Edition" on its title-page, but housed in a Ryerson Press DJ with "Twenty-Fifth Edition" on the front cover. Ryerson Press is a Canadian (Toronto) publisher.
