1912 - Magepa the Buck
MAGEPA THE BUCK first appeared in Pears' Christmas Annual December 1912 with 4 illustrations by R. Caton Woodville. Later, the story appeared in Princess Mary's Gift Book in 1914, but with new illustrations by Byam Shaw.
This story was later included in the 1920/21 collection SMITH AND THE PHARAOHS AND OTHER STORIES.
