The first British edition of THE LION AND THE ELEPHANT as published in London in 1873 by Hurst & Blackett. Published posthumously, it was edited by Andersson's father. This edition includes 4 illustrations, one of which already appeared as the frontispiece in Andersson's THE OKAVANGO RIVER.
This title was never published in America.
