I own an exceedingly rare Uncorrected Proof copy
This is even more scarce because it is a Signed Limited Proof Edition
I now own only 2 copies of the first printing of the British first edition, including the one Wilbur gave to his mother-in-law
The very copy that Wilbur gifted to his mother-in-law is now in my collection. "Mom" is Danielle's mother.
My copy of the British first edition signed by both Wilbur and his wife, Danielle, in 1990
A couple of uniquely-inscribed copies, neither are mine. Danielle signed along with Wilbur on one of them
I have owned and sold several signed copies of GOLDEN FOX. The copies below are first printings.
I have sold two copies of the rare Limited Proof Edition: #59 and #67
The darker brown is the London edition, the lighter brown is the Australian edition
Random House published its first edition in 1991
I own an exceedingly rare Unrevised Proof copy
I own 1 copy of the American first edition
In November 2022, I finally acquired an absolute rarity: an inscribed, signed, and dated First American Edition of GOLDEN FOX. I have been looking for one for over 25 years, and this is the very first copy that I have ever seen surface for sale, so I immediately bought it when I saw it. This copy almost certainly was signed at the Dallas Safari Club annual convention that I was actually fortunate to be able to attend back in 2001, and at which I got to meet Wilbur and get 70 of my books signed by him.
